Registrar Domain delete

hi there,

i have got two accounts from two different german registrars. it is normal that all domains automatically renew. i cant change it.

i manage the domain orders via the api, domains can be registered automatically. but the client can choose that his domain should not be renewed automatically. this hasnt got an effect because my registrar always renews it after one year.

i cant find a function in the registrar module template to delete a domain with my registar.

so, what to do now? can somebody help me solve this issue?

any ideas?

thanks

It is not possible to turn it off, I asked the support.

How could i manage it? Maybe I disallow customers to change the auto-renewel, i delete this option in the client area. Furthermore i could change the button "domain renew" in the admin area to "domain delete", so I could delete domains there if the customer contacts me that he dont want to have his domain anymore.

Or may be he can delete his domain by himself if i change the renew option to delete option in the client area. Is it possible?

Check the API documentation. There should be a command to set the renewal mode for domains - (autorenew/autoexpire).

I wrote a module for IRRP.net. They are the same where you cannot set the default to auto expire. The module needed to register the name first, sleep for 5 seconds then set the renewal mode with another command.
