Handling email replies

I have a problem with a particular client who manages many domains for her clients. I assign each account a generic email address like admin@domain. Isetup their mail account to forward whmcs emails to go to this webmasters main address. The problem, is that when she replies to say an invoice, WHMCS assigns the ticket to a random account which she manages. Yesterday this behaviour caused me to cancel the wrong account. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong here? Thanks.
