Highway
"An Error Occured Invalid Aux Billing information." Configured with Enom and registering domain successfully until today. Does anyone know what this means? Thanks, A.J.
dkent
What is the difference between "Billing" and "Aux. Billing"? There are 4 types of contacts - billing, registrant, auxiliary billing, and technical. The billing information is used to identify whose account the domain name belongs to. The auxiliary billing information is used to identify the actual user who purchased the domain and the auxiliary billing information is usually only useful with a reseller account.
Highway
I don't have any resellers and this client does not have any additional contacts on his account. Billing contact is set to "default contact".
dkent
This might shed some light on the problem. http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=9007&highlight=Invalid+Aux+Billing+information It appears to be a problem with eNom, not at the end of WHMCS, so unfortunately we wouldn't be able to help diagnose or fix the actual problem. You should have a chat with eNom with regards to this. When contacting them, make sure to be detailed, giving them the error messages you were receiving etc.
AndrewMKP
Hi, I had this problem. I think it had something to do with my contact number having letters and symbols in 'N/A'. I also changed the contact name as it reflected the same two words as my company name. I then proceeded to register it and it worked. Cheers, Edit: Sorry, didn't see the dates before I replied. Please remove if required - didn't mean to bump and old thread! Edited September 8, 2010 by AndrewMKP Bumping
pinarthost
I have the same problem with NetEarthOne registrar. Clients information appears to be OK (double checked), yet WHMCS doesn't send it to the registrar at all! I wonder what's causing this? An Error Occured {telno=Telephone Country Code/Telephone No. is invalid. Please note that only digits are allowed, name=Name is invalid., emailaddr=Emailaddr is invalid., zip=Zip is empty, address1=Address1 is invalid., country=Country is invalid., city=City is invalid.}
