silkenstrand
WHMCS has been running for a couple of years. All of sudden I see that I am receiving an error, Email Sending Failed - SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host., when the system attempts to send invoices. I've looked up similar threads on the forum and have tried 'everything'. Change mail.mydomain.com to localhost verified that the Setup>General Settings>Email Address and Setup>General Settings>Mail>SMTP Username and password are correct. Any new ideas?

Doulos
Can't get SMTP to work at all with WHMCS. I tried several different accounts and providers.
Doulos
I was able to get SMTP working, but not with any of my accounts related to my hosting co. I had to use a gmail account to get it to work.

mpkossen
This puzzles me as well. I'm currently investigating. I hope to find out what happens soon.
mpkossen
(Sorry, cannot edit/update my previous post) I've been unable to find the cause of the issue as it's hard to debug with the code that performs the call being encoded. This could probably be filed as a bug report since it's something that should work that doesn't for various people (who use 100% confirmed working details).
