cwalke32477
When trying to create an account, it will no longer create automatically. Instead I get an error that the password strength is to weak. The passwords are the auto generated password that are very strong (Ie. 6Tx7123bC) This worked, at one time, but now it is failing. I now have to manually enter the password into the users account, and then click the create button. cwalke32477
Here is an error message from the activity log: 29/11/2009 22:18 Module Create Failed - Service ID: 9 - Error: Sorry, the password you selected cannot be used because it is too weak and would be too easy to crack. Please select a password with strength rating of 50 or higher. System This occurs on all packages and accounts. Again this is a new issue. It appears to have started after I removed joomla cms.
sparky
log into your WHM and go to Security >>Security Center change your password strength from 50 to 40 and check the Default Required Password Strength Leave all of the other checkboxes un-checked and make sure that they are all set as "inherit" That should solve your problem
cwalke32477
I do not have that option, in my WHM console. Looks to be disabled by server owner. Why would it just stop working, when it was working before?
cwalke32477
I was able to set this option in WHMCS under security, and I set it to 40. Now it works again. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
