Knowledgebase links requiring to login does not redirect you back after login

My knowledgebase are protected so only logged in users can view them. When clients ask me for help, I give them a link to the knowledgebase article. The problem is that it asks them to log in then it takes them to the client home page. It should remember that they were requesting an article and take them to the article after logging in.

By the way, in the last 4.1.1 this was added for downloads:

"Added login form and redirect preservation for client only download links if followed when not logged in"

 

This just needs to be fixed for the knowledgebase articles too as this is annoying when trying to support customers with a simple article link.
