I want to make it so I get an sms when someone opens up a support ticket?

If your cell phone provider has an email to sms gateway (such as verizon which is phonenumber@vtext.com) you can add an administrator to WHMCS and assign that user to the appropriate departments and check the "Tick this box to receive email notifications when new tickets are opened or responded to" checkbox...

 

you could do that or you could install this addon: http://www.scriptlisans.com/ ... I'm using it now and it works great. It will tell you when someone replys, an order is placed, a new ticket is opened and it will also send text messages to your clients.
