BryanB
I upgraded to 4.1.1 and now it looks like the box to assign a support ticket to a client is gone. Why is this? I see that there is a way to enter the client ID number and it will assign the ticket to a client but this seems like a step backwards.. Now I have to go look up the client # and come back to the ticket and enter it. Unless im missing something?
Niklas
Sounds like you enabled the 'Disable Full Client Dropdown' setting (Setup -> General Settings -> Others).
BryanB
Nope, the box is unchecked. That seems to be for the drop down on the client profile page, it seems like only the drop down on the support tickets is missing.
scurrell
Seems to be missing from the demo too.
BryanB
hm. bug? I dont see any reason why they would purposely leave it out of this version.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted November 6, 2009 WHMCS CEO Share Posted November 6, 2009 The client dropdown was left out intentionally. It soon starts to affect page loading when you have a number of clients and with the conversion to the customisable template (viewticket.tpl which is why it was changed) it's something that if really desired, you can just add to the template. BryanB
hm I see. Maybe a box like the search box that is at the top would be better?
Stream101
I would like to be able to Search for a client ID number. That would be cool...but I totally agree this is MUCH better and faster since we have hundreds of clients.
dutchnet
A Client search box on top the would be great. We have many clients most use different e-mails now and then and looking for the client id as it is now throws us back to the middle ages of software design.
