dexus
When client click on password reset link after link has expired, I tried 24 hours later and received a message "Password successfully reset... new password sent to your email..." and that is not actually the truth, password was not reset and nothing was sent to client email.
sparky
Probably best to read the email sent out when doing a pw reset Dear {$client_name},Recently a request was submitted to reset your password for our client area. If you did not request this, please ignore this email. It will expire and become useless in 2 hours time. To reset your password, please visit the url below: {$pw_reset_url} When you visit the link above, your password will be reset, and the new password will be emailed to you. {$signature}
dexus
I know, that is exactly the reason I reported this... If you look in the langauge file, there is a new string "The reset link you have followed has expired. Please try again." that should be shown in this case, but that is not working correctly.
sparky
Sorry, your right... (after testing it) an expired pw reset does show that it was reset sucessfully when it should have come back with the expired error.
dexus
I see that this is marked as "Not a bug". Can someone from WHMCS please explain why? Whmcs report message "Password successfully reset..." even after a password link has expired and password doesn't actually get reset, so message "The reset link you have followed has expired..." should be shown in this case...
