project planning for webdevelopement

Hi,

 

I am considering WHMCS, but i also need funtions for our webdevelopment department (6 people staff).

 

Questions:

1. Are there any webdevelopement companies that use WHMCS?

 

2. What additional software do you use in combination with WHMCS?

a. for projectplanning and registration

b. for time registration (i need some kind of clock to register time of our employees, and options to bil time based on projects, tickets, etc.).

 

I hope this thread will lead to some more information, tips, addons, etc, for webdesign companies that want to use, or are using WHMCS.

 

We are also doing an investigation on possibilities, and i will post them here in the next weeks.

Thanks I'll take a look over the weekend. We really want to keep everything inside WHMSC if possible, probably by custom coding.

Also look at this:

 

basecamp + harvest + zendesk (they all have 100% integration).

 

And for WHMCS integration you can communicate trough the API's (this is a part that need to be custom made), but it should not be a problem i think.

Yes we have decided to go down the route of putting our own custom built solution together, using the WHMCS api. So far so good and pretty easy to do.
