Clients with Multiple Companies

Hi Guys,

Wondering in your opinion what is the best way of handling clients with multiple companies/websites.

I don't want to give them separate logins for each company/site and also a lot of them use the same email address and I obviously can't enter duplicates. I want to be able to distinguish between them in the ticketing and billing sections of the site.

Is there an easy solution to this problem, any help is appreciated. :)

I have them create separate accounts for each company/client and then add themself as a contact. For example, a web designer signs each client up separately and adds himself as a contact on each one. Only problem with this is for support tickets. If the web designer sends in a support ticket from the address he put down on 7 different accounts, how is whmcs going to know which account to route it to? The primary email addresses on the other accounts he is also listed on will be cc'd on his support message and then wonder why they are getting messages from somebody else's account.

So to reiterate my question- if the same email is added as a secondary contact to more than account, which one will it pipe to when he sends in an email and is there any way for him to specify this at the time he sends the message? Is there another solution to this or should I just encourage him to use different emails for each account?

Thanks!
