Need advice on alternative to CDGcommerce, or a way to comply with my certain setup.

Greetings,

I run an IT consulting and support company, we decided to use WHMCS because it integrated with CDGcommerce, and we love the helpdesk in it.

Also we were planning to implement hosting into our services some time next year, on another domain dedicated to hosting.

So for this reason we setup 2 domains.

1. DomainA.com is where we market our business, clients learn about our IT services, and the domain holds our business name in it.

2. DomainB.com is where we have WHMCS licensed, our ssl installed, and where we send clients to pay invoices, create tickets, etc. (Mainly because DomainB.com is easier to spell and remember from clients than our official domain.

3. We handle no transactions on DomainA.com. We merely promote our services, and all payment/checkout links sends the client to DomainB.com where the SSL is installed to submit support tickets, handle billing, etc.

4. All emails sent from WHMCS and all our email accounts use DomainA.com on them though.

The problem is after speaking to an agent of CDGcommerce, they said that only one domain could be on my account. That the bank may not accept my application because of the way i have the system setup. So they had me contact their Underwriting department directly, which i did on friday so waiting back for a reply next week.

Kind of frustrated from the situation because i got WHMCS, setup my domain, already started invoicing clients from paypal, got my SSL, and i set everything up to use CDGcommerce because i use to use them years ago.

Now i find out i may be stuck with paypal, unless i can find a gateway that allows my setup. A very very disappointing set back, and i feel stuck and frustrated at this point.

Don't get me wrong, i understand CDGcommerce's stand point and I don't blame them.

My question though is, does anyone have any advice, comments, etc... or know of a merchant gateway that I can work with.

Thank you in advance!

My set up is the same as yours, where my business website is separate from my billing and support website... different domain names, different servers even! My application for CDGcommerce got approved though it did take a few extra days.

Thank you for your reply :). Would it be possible to PM me your domain name, and the domain for your billing and support website so I can see how you did it so they approved? I've been sending emails back and fourth with them, but they got swamped with alot of work and said to just submit my application but i don't want it to fail.

Thank you so much for replying, and thanks for letting me know that all hope is not in vein lol.
