JumpNetwork
Hello, I was wondering, who here sells IP's and SSL Certificates? Do you have them setup as a addon or a configurable option? What would be the benefit of one over the other? Thanks Chris.

JFSG
WHMCS provides a free eNom or ResellerClub account, which you can purchase SSL certificates from there. You can only get your IP address from your host.

othellotech
Do you have them setup as a addon or a configurable option? What would be the benefit of one over the other? Neither, we have them as actual products, so they can be automated, provisioned, additional details stored (custom fields) and integrated into our reporting and whmcs-extensions
openmind
We have them setup as an addon, one for people who buy the cert and IP, and one for those who only want the IP for their own cert.
MasterHost
We give them free with SSL certs and certain packages, (setup in whm to have a dedicated ip address). Would not consider an dedicated ip address as an addon really more of a dangling carrot
datawebcorp
I sell them as a configuration option. For example, I offer an e-commerce solution. The buyer can opt to use a 'shared' secure domain for checkout (free), or their own. Using their own requires a static IP and a SSL cert. and costs $X more per month.
EZi
We provide a free individual IP to all our clients but only if they need it and ask for it. Need would be installing an SSL certificate. Weather this is good practice or not is suitable for a "marketing discussion" but for now I would love to know your opinion on how best to go about this in WHMCS?
Milesweb
We provide SSL certificate with IP address. We have added SSL certificate as an Addon, there is not any benefit. You can add it the way you want.
