gloomer
I've made several test packages to test the WHMCS system. They have no domain and they are free, and everything goes well except they are not created in Cpanel. They get the first two emails, the order confirmation and the welcome email but they never get that last one that shows all the account info. The hosting welcome email (yes I have it selected for that package) No matter what I do, none of these accounts are ever created anywhere but WHMCS. I'm really really sure that my server settings are right. How can they not be? So simple, yet it seems to not work. It didn't appear that WHMCS was reading the package names from WHM and setting the allotted bandwidth, diskspace, etc.. so I made my own package name just like the Cpanel/WHM WHMCS documentation, but still I'm getting nowhere. I feel like I've tried everything and I really need your help! I'll be watching this thread and refreshing every minute so expect quick responses from me Thanks
BullsoftHosting - Tom
You say your sure you set your server settings right, do you have a server set as default?
gloomer
Yup. It's got the little asterisk.
BullsoftHosting - Tom
And on the product of the client, the package is definately set to the server?
gloomer
Yes, under the module settings. Default Install Server Server27
BullsoftHosting - Tom
I have no idea then. If you sure all the server settings are correct, I would open a ticket and get them to look at it.
gloomer
I do have some sort of an idea what may be happening. When I click the WHM icon for server27, it gives me an SSL error and asks me to add an exception. Once I add the exception it goes to WHM. This may be halting things. I have another hostname I can try. By the way, thanks for the awesome fast help
BullsoftHosting - Tom
Do you have other servers on your WHMCS that work ok?
gloomer
I only have the one which doesn't work right now. I've never taken any 'real' orders before. I just am getting things set up. I'll make the hostname changes and post back my results here.
gloomer
Yeah. I've done everything there is to do which includes fiddling with server/product settings for hours. Since I'm getting the free monthly license through my webhost I should probably contact them on how to write a support ticket to WHMCS because I don't have credentials to log in here. https://www.whmcs.com/members/clientarea.php
cyfered6
Hi, Can you try to do this again.... 1. Create a new package in your cPanel/WHM (account1) 2. Add your server info in whmcs (Server name, IP, hostname, nameservers, cpanel login info) and save 3. Create your package in whmcs (account1) with all settings and try again if your package are not created in the root (reseller with free whmcs license)....you probably need to add (youraccountname_) before your package name (mybiz_account1) If its still not working.....i don't know what to do
verdictjosh
Hi okay check your package name needs to be identical to the package name in WHM Ie yourcpanelusername_packagename get the hash key and put the username/password in... and hit the tick box for Tick to use SSL Mode for Connections Should work if it does not work... screen shot your current settings please...
