[FIXED] deleting file from download does not delete from server

I delete a file in my download page but when I ftp I see it is still sitting there.

Thats not a bug.

Deleting the download from the download page does just that.

Its not supposed to delete it from the server.

I think it is a bug... Also there is another issue with that... If you delete a download file from WHMCS and then try to upload different file with the same filename it would just ignore your new upload and use existing file on server instead, without even notifying you about that... That must be a bug...

But why should something get deleted just because you dont want it to be shown in WHMCS?

 

The download section surely just gives clients the ability to download files you specify.

Ok, maybe you are right about that, but than at least there should be a check box "also delete file from server" when deleting if someone wants to remove file.

 

About second issue that I mentioned I think that is definitely a bug, because WHMCS should at least notify you that file with same name already exist and that you can't upload another file with same filename, or something like that...

Yeh I agree with being the check box idea.

 

When you do upload something with the same file name, does it overwrite the existing one? Or does it rename it to something different?

It just ignores your upload, and link to existing file on server with same file name.
