BullsoftHosting - Tom
Its a joke! I really think someone should take it further if its not the first time. Ive had content stole off my site, but not a full design. That would really brass me off! redrat
This guy is a menace for sure. I can't imagine Studyhost taking this lying down. He certainly has enough witnesses amongst us who know when and how hard he worked on his superb integration and design. Kinda pathetic that this guy picked such a famous site to rip because proof of originality and ownership is a no brainer to establish.
thehost5968
This domain is not authorized to be using WHMCS. Impact-John
it is very sad annomander your site is one the greatest site layouts i have ever seen and some one can take it just like that there really needs to be a way of stopping this **** from happening i mean i dont have the greatest of site but its mine and i like it so if i was to see it on the web as well i would be pissed right off good luck annomander and again id love to jump in and give this P.O.S a piece of my mind but i wont add gasoline to a already ignited fire. very good job on your site again P.S how did you find out that a copy of your site was around on the net.???
rslyon
I agree it is the best looking site is have ever seen. You can find someone using your site if they still leave keywords in the text. Search for keywords or code that you know only your site has. Like a string of text or sentance. I get an email from google when every they find the word fast2host. Someone posted a nice comment on a forum about fast2host and within an hour i had an email from google. Never knew the person or the forum. This is called google alert which can be found by login to your google account, select More Google products, then alarts. Enter any keywords. Also if they have not updated links so it still links back to you images or java etc, you can find this in your stats of if you have real time chat on your site, you can see how each visitor is looking at your site.
annomander
I found it as I was testing out Bing and put in the word studyhost and he popped up on about page 3 or so just because he had forgotton to remove that word. On the off change I then put his domain into whmcs forums and found that he had previous.
HostOrca
This domain is not authorized to be using WHMCS.Please report the url to the installation to us: capeverdehosting.com So WHMCS can do some think also? also just send a DMCA takedown notice to the host Have you reported this to whmcs? It really baffles me how some people are so lazy to either create their own design, have one designed for them, or even go to somewhere like templatemonster. Then also uses a nulled script. If they can not afford to pay $15-$21 for whmcs, then what else are they cutting back on, also they obviously do not care about their clients by using a nulled script that could have any malicious code in it. The only good thing is these type of "hosts" tend not to last long once they realise that being a host is not a get rich quick scheme, and that it's harder work than they thourght. It's their clients (if any), are the ones I feel sorry for.
Impact-John
damn right there host the clients are getting shafted large on that deal and its this hosts that do the 2.99 a month everything unlimited as well i hate that crap i hate period unlimited space and bandwith hosts period its called overselling and laggy ass servers not unlimited space and bandwith tell the truth for crying out load " we will give you unlimited everything but we are in fact overselling our 50GB vps Server that only comes with 800GB Bandwith a month if we are lucky and we are going to sell it to you dirt cheap take your money and not offer and decent amount of support at all" that is what they should be saying to there clients sorry i had to but i think alot would agree with me (i Hope)
thehost5968
sorry for the off topic but ref: unlimited space and bandwith WHMCS could just script it so the word could not be used, that would stop it?

AndyM
A handy tool for checking such things is http://www.plagiarismchecker.com - it's basically a handy front end to some of Google's tools, but will help to check for people who have nicked your site content.
EastsideHosting
I don't know if any of you know or knew about this site but it was made for this reason and was big few years ago; Until the orginal owners sold it and the new owner took it over and it was offline for about 2 years. It's back online and reporting a ripper is the purpose of this site. http://www.ripperhunting.com/
annomander
Hope this isn't an offence, but I thought I'd post this very well thought out email just yesterday, I had to laugh at it a bit (and if the writer is a visitor of these forums, sorry no offence meant) basically, hello, your site is ****, let me do it better has anyone received anything similar? to be fair, he's templates are ok and prices arn't bad Hello, My name is **** and I’m the head designer at *****, and after coming across your website I must say I’m pretty impressed with some of your packages which are on offer, though personally I think your website design doesn’t do justice to your service. I hope you don’t take too much offence, but the design which you are currently using doesn’t seem to work very well, it seems to provide an outdated and overall dull feel to your hosting services. I personally think it needs updating with a fresh new design, especially to help attract new customers. I know this is a little harsh, though if I think this, I’m sure some of your other potential clients might also do. Personally I’m always put off by a hosting company which uses a poor design which you might find from template monster or something similar. The webhosting market is extremely competitive, and I’m sure you’re fully aware one of the most important things in helping to attract new customers and keeping old ones is the website, the front of house as it were. I hope you don’t take this as spam, and if you do I apologise for emailing you. I’m sure you’re looking to help boost potential clients, and we’re exactly the same. Therefore at the moment we’re having a little discount to offer new custom design clients, which I think might be of interest to you. We normally charge $350 plus $60 per page for a custom job, and on average a client pays around $600-$800 for a custom design from us. Though we’re more than happy to help redesign you a new custom design for half that price, giving a new fresh look to your company, which will hopefully help to boost new potential customers. Therefore what we’re willing to offer is a redesign of your website, including a total of 4 pages for the total cost of $300, and if you do decide to need extra pages designed, then I’m sure we can also come to some sort of discount price. Recently we have just finished projects from such hosting companies as ****, ****, **** and ****which is owed by ****. So therefore please feel free to check our portfolio out at http://www.***.com, where you can see some of the designs which we have created for other hosting companies. We would love the chance to work with you, and therefore if you have any problems or questions please feel free to email us back or to add me personally to MSN, to talk further.
