iXenHost
I do not know where to place this topic so I will place it here. I have jsut registered for the 15-Day trial and installed WHMCS correctly on my web server, but when I try to goto the Admin Login page I do not see anything but a white blank page. May I please ask why this is happening? http://www.iXenHost.net/billing/admin/login.php

iXenHost
I am not sure if register globals is on or not, but I do have the php.ini and .htaccess in the WHMCS directory as stated in the knowledge section of WHMCS.com.
DataHosts
need to check global as it needs to be set to on for WHMCS to work.
iXenHost
How might I be able to check register global if its on or not? I installed WHMCS and Register Globals passed the installation thing.

Chances are that it is on, but safe to check. You will need to check the php.ini file by ssh into server and login as root.
iXenHost
That is not good then. I guess I will have to contact my reseller provider.
DataHosts
yep..php.ini affects the entire server, so, you need to contact them and ask if global is on or off.
iXenHost
What if I took php.ini down and only kept .htaccess on? Would that work maybe?
MACscr
What if I took php.ini down and only kept .htaccess on? Would that work maybe? If your talking about a local php.ini file, then yes. It all depends on how your php is setup. Contact your host and tell them that you have a script that needs register global to be on and you want to know how to do that. If you can, post a link to your phpinfo as well.
iXenHost
What do you mean? Maybe if I took down my php.ini (http://ixenhost.net/billing/php.ini) that it may work as I have mt .htaccess coded the way WHMCS wanted me to code it?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 30, 2007 The issue is you don't have CURL installed. Did the install script not notify you of this issue? There is a check that should have failed.

MACscr
your going to have to rebuild apache. You can do this within WHM. Since you dont know what your doing though, i would consult with your provider.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 30, 2007 Thanks for the report. Will look into why we're not getting a fail error there. Matt
iXenHost
Would you recommend me using WHMCS 2.5.8 for the time being? I really need a WHM Manager right now.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 30, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 30, 2007 Yep, if you can't get Curl working, you'll need to use V2.5.8 until you can get that installed.
iXenHost
Would I still be able to purchase a license from WHMCS and use the license with Version 2.5.8?

iXenHost
Version 2.5.8 works perfectly fine, but can I get some help on PayPal Style? What does PayPal Style mean?
hoball
Oh really, thanks. Please fix CURL for me, I would like to use V3. Also CURL is it possible just to download the scripts and upload to the web server? This should be done by your service provider if you are on a reseller package , or do it yourself if you rent a dedicated server If you have access to WHM, just hit to apache update and tick Curl, Curl SSL, Save, and you will have it
