kazey
I taught whmcs issues a domain based license when I ordered at first, but I just realized, the license only allows you to run one session at a time on one domain. This means without the multiple currency support, I cannot run two versions with different currency values under one domain, how awkward? So literally I cant have hostingcompany.com/dollar/ hostingcompany.com/pounds/ As at last month, it was working, but I am struck with that reality now, when I renewed my leased de-branded license. How sad, I would need to evaluate the possibility of migrating to another billing system, because its not cost intensive for me to purchase two licenses on a domain name when all i want to do is support two currencies. I think the WHMCS team need to do something about this. I am out.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 28, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 28, 2007 We do offer multiple licenses in situations like this at discounted rates on request but it is true that if you are found to be running two installations on one license your license will be suspended immediately and no refund given for breaking the terms of the license agreement. It is clearly stated in the EULA that a license is valid for one install only.
Rebel
when you look else where you will find that the running 2 licenses of WHMcs on 2 domains is still cost effective. what we did was have all US $ payment go through rebelnetworks.com and all Canadian $ payments go though rebelnetwoks.ca -- Modernbill now supports Dual currencies -- if you can get it to work and if you can suffer through some learning curve -- we replaced Modernbill for this as this is much easier, much better, better support, most effective just my 2 cents
