CrustyDOD
Hey After reading lots of bad reviews on net plus on this website about RegisterFly plus the fact that their admin interface is damn slow, i decided that DirectI is probably the only solution. Now since i'm carefull about this things I just have to ask a few things http://www.whmcs.com/freedirectiaccount.php no signup fees and no minimum deposit How true is this? There's always a catch. Their basic minimum deposit is $199 if you register directly at DirectI, if i'm correct so getting this for free kinda, well, looks to good to be true kinda.. Didn't find where DirectI is located but probably US so for those that are not in the same country as DirectI, did you have to fill out any special (tax) forms? Or is it simply, signup, put some money on account and start registering domains? They accept PayPal only? I see on that website (http://www.whmcs.com/freedirectiaccount.php) 7 domains but http://www.resellerclub.com has more domains available. Is it just that http://www.whmcs.com/freedirectiaccount.php is not updated or do you actually get only those domains if you use VHMCS to get free account? And the last question for now, are you happy with DirectI? Of course that noone is perfect and problems are always there but still, what do you think of DirectI as domain reseller? thanks
Harrison
put some money on account and start registering domains? That's exactly true. It's free to setup. I'm happy with DirectI. I haven't had any problems yet.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 28, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 28, 2007 There's no hidden fees. We provide it free as a benefit to all our customers. When adding funds to the account you pay us, so no need to worry about any implications with paying the DirectI company. We only accept funds being added to your account using PayPal. All domains extensions that DirectI offer are available for registration in the account you get through us. That list on our site is pretty old now. DirectI the company as far as I am aware is based in India.
