liemonline
I set cron to be run every 5 minutes, so I receive a lot of report emails. Any way to stop receiving them? Thanks, PS: I have already added >dev/null in cron.
herpherp
you should probably change this to run every 24hrs (just so you are aware cron does not set up accounts etc) The cron is mainly for automated processes such as suspending accounts, adding late fees etc... Things that would only happen once per day... To stop recieving the email, remove your email from the cron in your control panel....
liemonline
I have deleted the email but I still receive the emails. I realize that cron emails are sent to all the administrators.
IPH - Tim
You would need to remove your email from your control panel and untick the box within your WHMCS account that sends you system emails. But as herpherp say, you only need to run the cron every 24 hours. There is no advantage to running it every 5 minutes, as nothing changes in such a short period of time. Invoices are marked due when the due date is reached. So having the cron run once a day is more than enough. Invoices aren't due every 5 minutes.......
tbenoit
Not to mention the flood of credit card re-attempts and emails for those charges being declined that are sent to your clients.
