fehmifnd Posted July 25, 2009 Share Posted July 25, 2009 hello i'm using cpanel module in whmcs when i create one new account in whmcs area it failed to auto create in whm and this is the error message that it showed in activity log of my whmcs Error: Sorry, the password you selected cannot be used because it is too weak and would be too easy to crack. Please select a password with strength rating of 80 or higher. Please not that i m not owned of server and i'm only reseller from resellerrocket.com so i cannot access or change whm > Security > Security Center > Password Strength Configuration so what i can i do to reselve this problem ? rodeoXtreme Posted July 30, 2009 Share Posted July 30, 2009 (edited) Hello, If you have root access; Log into your WHM go to the "Security" Section followed by clicking on the "Security Center" You should see "Password Strength Configuration" This area allows you to change the minimum required password strength for each area of cPanel/WHM that accepts a password. Without root access, you will need to contact your provider and ask them to adjust it for you or you will need to generate stronger passwords. RaXa Posted November 8, 2009 Share Posted November 8, 2009 I have this issue too, I need to WHMCS generates more secure passwords, I have 50 minimum strenght in my servers and I need to get equal password strenght when the system create the account automatically. Account is never created, need to manually set a stronger password, this delay the sign up process and customer complain within the first day.
