njoker555
A few days ago I started seeing something weird happening with the server status window, both in admin panel and client area. I've been using WHMCS for a while now and for server status I've use the server's hostname as the main url followed by the path to the /status/ folder and it has worked. But a few days ago it stopped transmitting data and I thought my browser was just messed up. So today I restarted my pc and tried it on my laptop and another computer in the house and so far, no luck with showing the load or uptime - it just gives a dash where the info is supposed to be. It still showed the HTTP part as "Online" So I changed the hostname into the IP of the server and then it started to work. I have the latest version of WHMCS and I upgraded a few days ago so I'm not sure if it has anything to do with it.
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted July 5, 2009 WHMCS CEO Share Posted July 5, 2009 Sounds like a local DNS resolution issue rather than a bug. Need to contact your admin about it. Matt

Matt I've been on the server for months and nothing was touched here - any idea on how to fix this then?
