reds
I have setup an account for testing ... 30eur per month. I have a coupon code which means the first month is free so the paypal sub comes up as 0eur now and 30eur per month after. The problem is, even though I go through paypal "payment" and click return to merchant (is this needed?) it still shows up as pending. I have to mark it as paid manually to activate / create account and send email to the customer.
reds
Any ideas on this? Is this a bug in the system or on paypals end?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted January 18, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted January 18, 2007 Hi reds, Yes, it is needed that you go to PayPal. If it didn't, your customer would not pay the next month as there would be no PayPal Subscription. If it doesn't automatically mark paid, then either you haven't configured the IPN to work correctly or it isn't being sent. The order will remain at the status of pending until you manually accept it, but if you have accounts set to be created on payment then the account should be setup and welcome email sent - but if its still marked unpaid, as far as WHMCS is concerned, the account has not been paid yet. This is really an issue for a support ticket. Matt
