sparky Posted June 11, 2009 Share Posted June 11, 2009 When a mass email was sent as Plain Text which contained some php code that was enclosed in {php} ... {/php} tags the code was executed when the email was sent. Merge fields to include values such as customer name, address, domain details, etc.. will still merge as normal which it needs to for the email to be any use but all other smarty code will also execute so including PHP is fine, just don't put the {php}{/php} around it.
