RandyC
I am working on a staff panel that is basically private to users who have an account created by the administrator of the panel. It will be a place to manage staff, allow staff to talk, and manage payroll. I am trying to think of what other options i would need to add to the administration backend. So i am asking if you were/are the owner of a company what kind of options would best suit you to manage your staff/private panel? I Currently Have: Staff Management (Add, Edit, Delete) Payroll Management (Pay, Amount Employee Makes) Department Management (Basically Categories and Groups rolled into one) General Settings (Manage the staff panel site name etc..) Company Email (possibly) WHMCS Integration Scheduling (possibly) Please note that this is still a project I am working on for myself however in the future i may be more inclined to release it or if the right price is offered I will release paid licenses.
UNIXIELHOST
This is a great idea.. I would also add live chat for staff inside the WHMCS, it would be a big plus!
iRageInternetLtd
This is a great idea.. I would also add live chat for staff inside the WHMCS, it would be a big plus! I'd first suggest getting rid of that template Live chat, will never happen, unless your going to pay someone to do it or hound Matt until his ears blead and can't take no more, then I think you are onto a winner
RandyC
I don't plan to do a live chat as my main purpose for this is for me and my staff that live in UK can stay updated on whats going on with the company as there are large time differences. If staff members would like to do live chat i would recommend that they use msn or something else.
handsonwebhosting
One thing that's a kicker for us is scheduling time off, or where "X" happens to be today (wedding, sick, kids school play, etc etc). We've used Google Calendar for the most part to help keep this under control, but it's not pretty. So a section to allow time off requests, and admin approval on those requests.
