ffeingol
We just dug into the way that WHMCS is calculating prorata and it seems to be inconsistent. I'm not sure if this is the way it always worked, a change for 4.x or a bug like this thead: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=20826 I've applied all the latest patches and it still seems to work this way. For a simple example. We have a web hosting product that is $6.99 per month, $20.97 per quarter and $83.88 per year. We have the prorata set to the 1st and 15th (bill as of the 1st, cutoff the 15th). I placed a test order (monthly) today and the system calculated $4.89 due which seems correct. I then placed a test order (quarterly) and the system calculated $25.86. $25.86 is the $4.89 for this month plus a quarterly payment of $20.97. Since we're before the 15th shouldn't the system charge $4.89 + 2/3 of 20.97?. The system is consistent with it's calculation for quarter and yearly (prorata + 3 or 12 months). TIA

TIA No As you bill on 1st then the prorate will charge until the end of the signup month and then either the following full month, or quarter, or annual fee. as far as i am aware in v4 you can only set ther prorate to when it will start and not any cutoff dates. we also use prorate and this is how it works for us.
ffeingol
OK, so this is a change the the behavior then? Both the start and cutoff day are there but the cutoff 'appears' to be ignored.
