openmind
Sad as it is it does show how massive an impact something like this can have. It also vindicates our decision a couple of years ago to have in place formal disaster recovery plans covering various scenarios including suppliers going bust or disappearing...

jozeph
I really suggest everyone to migrate ASAP to VTONF (http://www.wiki.vtonf.com/).
easyhosting
further update see http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?p=6229471#post6229471 as quoted "Update: After speaking to his uncle and few of his friends, I've managed to get some information out. Apparently, they have spoken to two 'engineers' (I'm assuming developers) about his software/company. They will sit down together this Saturday and work on how to resolve this issue. They said that it would take 2-3 weeks to get something worked out - but they gave me no guarantee. How they tend to resolve this issue and what is their goal (making it opensource or put someone in place of Ligesh and continue the company) is unknown as of yet. This is all I could get for now... Everyone seems to be in a miserable state there, so left them to their grief and came back. I'll go there once again on the 15th to see if they have come up with something."
SilverNodashi
I really suggest everyone to migrate ASAP to VTONF (http://www.wiki.vtonf.com/). VTONF is as dead. Look at their forum and you'll see some of my posts, probably more than a year old, without any updates / fixes, etc. VTONF isn't actively being worked on, and provides very very basic OpenVZ management, yet I found it much easier to just do everything via SSH - it was much quicker.
easyhosting
Please add your preffered control panel to replace hyperVM here http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?p=108532#post108532 so matt can decide which to modulate.
