Domain Auto Renew upon Add Payment

Recommended Posts

Let me explain the issue I am facing.

Mr. A place a domain registration Order. He will pay me money with in 3 days.

I go ahead and accept his order, so the domain registration order is now executed and the domain is registered.

But I keep the invoice status as still Pending.

Latter Mr. A gave me money. This time, I go to his invoice and choose the option Add Payment. So added the Payment and Payment Confirmation email is SENT.

At this stage, the newly registerd domain is renewed for another one year.

Why does it get auto renewed when I make add payment for the Orginal Domain Registration Invoice?

Is there any way to prevent this Auto Renewal for the above case?

Your help appreciated.

I am not able to post a support ticket from my WHMCS as I got this WHMCS license under a Reseller Hosting Plan of Westnic

Once you've manually registered the domain for your client, set the registrar to "Email". Then, after you've received payment and paid the invoice, you can set it back to your registrar.
