dkent
OK, I love the Multi-Currency feature, works very well. However there is something really bugging me about it, and I am hoping other users of Version 4 can help me come up with a solution. Basically, all invoices marked as USD (default currency) go through to 2Checkout etc as normal, displaying the correct currency and value. However, when there are invoices marked in a different currency, the Gateway pages display different values. Invoice: £5.00 Gateway: £3.48 For some reason it is thinking my default currency is still USD, when infact the invoice is in GBP. Please, if anyone suggests a solution to this problem, please let me know. I shall discontinue offering multi currency if no solution can be found. Oh, and this problem still persists even if I select any "convert to" options.
ljesh
Have you tried to enable "Convert To For Processing -> USD" in the payment gateways? I think that would/could help.
dkent
Yes I did. Any invoice set in any currency OTHER than my default currency will show up incorrectly at the 2Checkout Gateway. It thinks that my default currency is still set at my default currency when it is not. I have tried using my other 2Checkout account, which is set to GBP, and it still ends up showing the wrong pricing. For example: If an invoice shown in GBP (£) of the amount of, lets say.. £5.00 - when the Client proceeds to payment pages at 2Checkout, it shows up as £5.23. I do not add any extra fees at all, not even for late payments, so this is a rather irritating problem for me and would like to see fixed ASAP. Unfortunately WHMCS Staff were unable to provide an easy solution to this problem.
cmo
We also notice something wrong with multi-currency and 2Checkout. The invoice is in US dollar $127 and when transferred to 2CO, it shows: - if set to : convert to "USD": it becomes US$2.65 - if set to: convert to "Local": it becomes US$125.04 - if set to : convert to "none": it becomes US$2.65 So, it's not right in all 3 possible ways. In Paypal, the rate conversion goes fine. Is it possible that there is a bug in 2CO module?
cmo
I found the bug for the discrepancies. I went to the mysql database tru myphpadmin. I remembered that 2CO in previous version had a field where the dollar rate should be set so that the local currency could be auto converted to US dollar for the credit card processing. With V4. that data was not erased from the database and was still there. And I think it can only be edited directly from the database. I deleted it and tried again. The conversion of the items matched this time by using "convert to "none". I still have to test more and check for other possible bugs. cmo
I couldn't edit my previous post. After some more tests: "The conversion of the items matched this time by using "convert to USD" and not "none".
