Real Webspace
I've setup my enomSSL correctly as far as i can tell and have just got an order. I know you don't get the email with the link to configure the certificate if its in test mode so mine is not. I have just had a client order the first certificate and now his email was blank. By blank i mean: Dear , Thank you for your order for an SSL Certificate. Before you can use your certificate, it requires configuration which can be done at the URL below. Instructions are provided throughout the process but if you experience any problems or have any questions, please open a ticket for assistance. I checked the email template and its exactly the same as this one... My client has paid and I got a receipt from Enom saying they got the order, but no link to setup the Certificate Please help, I'm really confused!
D-Litz
I get to help someone today...cool I have been back and forth with Matt on this very issue. It appears that the information need in the the SSL Certificate Configuration Required email template was not added. What I had to do...and this was confirmed by Matt, was to add the following fields to my SSL Certificate Configuration Required email template. Dear, {$client_name} Thank you for your order for an SSL Certificate. Before you can use your certificate, it requires configuration which can be done at the URL below. {$ssl_configuration_link} Instructions are provided throughout the process but if you experience any problems or have any questions, please open a ticket for assistance. {$signature} Once I added the merge fields to the template, all worked as it should. However in your case since the order was already placed and the client has no access to it. You are going to have to process the order manually. You need to log in to your Enom account and add the CSR, and other information it ask for.
cmo
I am also a bit lost here in issuing SSL Enom to clients. I tried once and I am stuck in issuing the certificate to my client after the generation of server request done, at Enom system. It seems the tel. contacts in the form are not working well.
HostBizLng
Hello, I had the same issue with email, when I tested enomssl, but haven't try the suggested by D-Litz email template adjustment. It makes sense, hopefully will work well. cmo, What exactly do you mean by "...generation of server request done, at Enom system. It seems the tel. contacts in the form are not working well"? What kind of generation of server request you do in eNom? tel. contacts in which form? Sincerely, Serg
Real Webspace
Hey Thanks, D-Litz. I ended up doing it manually anyway. I also opened a support ticket and had to add those fields but thanks for making it clear Thanks, Paul.

D-Litz
I just had this, looks like the default template is incorrect I mentioned this to Matt in a support ticket I opened recently. He told me thanks for the report, however I am running 3.8.2. Not sure if he corrected it in the last 4.0 release.
ServWise.com
I added {$ssl_configuration_link} to the email and sent the email from the product page again to the client but still no link. Now my client cant configure their SSL and I have no idea what the url should be.
D-Litz
I had the same exact problem...hence the support ticket to Matt. Apparently the link will not work after the fact...it has to be in the SSL Configuration Template before you process the module. I had to log into my enom account and configure the cert manually. Once I added the merge tag above into the email template, my next ssl cert purchase went thru without a hitch...well almost. I had an issue with the UK country code. It has to be GB for some reason. Other than that. I seem to be having some luck with the enomssl module. If you log into the WHMCS demo, I think you can still see the Email Template section under configuration. The last time I looked at the SSL Configuration Required Template, the megre filed was still missing.
ServWise.com
Any chance you could look back to an old valid email and give me an example configure url, it is likely just a link with a product ID so I could probably recreate it.
D-Litz
Any chance you could look back to an old valid email and give me an example configure url, it is likely just a link with a product ID so I could probably recreate it. I just grab a few of the last ones I processed... http://www.mydomain.com/configuressl.php?cert=c81e728d9d4c2f636f067f89cc14862c http://www.mydomain.com/configuressl.php?cert=eccbc87e4b5ce2fe28308fd9f2a7baf3 Edited June 15, 2009 by D-Litz

chickendippers
Hi, The configuration link is missing from the default template; merely an oversight. You just need to add: {$ssl_configuration_link}
D-Litz
Hi,The configuration link is missing from the default template; merely an oversight. You just need to add: {$ssl_configuration_link} Thanks, however I believe we already covered that. Adding it to the template after an order had been run without that link in the template, does not regenerate the configuration link. I had this discussion with Matt already. The configuration link is pulled from the order when it access your SSL vendor, in my case Enom. Matt is aware that the link was missing from the SSL Configuration Email template in version 3.8. It was even missing from the WHMCS online demo at the time I checked. Quote from Matt Yes, as I explained before, "SSL Certificate Configuration Required" is the one that gets sent. It contains a merge field {$ssl_configuration_linK} where the link to configure gets inserted only when the module automation is running." The link will only be included when the order is being placed with Enom by WHMCS and so only when the create function of the module is run. There isn't a way to send it manually as then WHMCS doesn't know the enom order. Regards, Matt According to Matt, below is what the email template should look like Dear ,{$client_name} Thank you for your order for an SSL Certificate. Before you can use your certificate, it requires configuration which can be done at the URL below. {$ssl_configuration_link} Instructions are provided throughout the process but if you experience any problems or have any questions, please open a ticket for assistance. {$signature}
