Telfie
When I attempt to upgrade - within a test environment on my Mac - I unstuff the files into the appropriate directory. But when I look at the permissions, they are 777 (folders) and 755 (files). If I load them to the server, they will not be functioning correctly as I run on suPHP. So, I need a script to go through and recursively alter the file permissions on my local test environment before loading to the server for upgrading. I found a script - but it doesn't appears to work. Any thoughts? System Info: MAMP Pro PHP5 Max OS X Alternatively ... a script that will be able to change the permissions on the cPanel Server ... PS... This is the PHP error PHP Warning: chmod() [<a href='function.chmod'>function.chmod</a>]: Operation not permitted in Edited May 18, 2009 by Telfie
