Recurring and Gameserver + Slots

Hello Guys,

 

Following problem:

 

I add my Gameserver Product Type: "Other Product/Service" and add a "configurable option" for the slots dropdown.

 

Gameservers should be have no Base Price, only chance price by select more slots. BUT here is the problem... i cant Recurring if the Base Price 0.00.....

 

 

any ideas ?

The way we've overcome this is to set a minimum order. So you could set a minimum of 2 slots (probably don't need less than that). Then you set the base price of the product according to the cost of a 2 slot server.

It is very easy to do.

 

As said ensure that you have a minimum slot number on each product, lets say.... 8 slots.

 

Set the cost of the product as the cost of 8 slots

 

Then in configurable options set the first selection as 8 slots, with no costs. The next option 9 slots, etc etc.

 

With regards to the module, it depends on what sustem you are using to provision the servers, we use TCAdmin, and as such the tcadmin module..... there is also a TCAdmin_advanced module available as well.
