Question about Cron Jobs

Hi, I have used cron jobs in the past and have always received emails for the cron job, I am not receiving any emails for whmcs.

 

Does this mean its working or not working?

 

is there a way to test a cron job?

 

And not sure which command I should have used, One says for Lynx. Is that the same as Linux? I used the other one. (not lynx) if anyone could help me out here, that would be great. Thanks Dan

Hi,

 

Everytime the cron job is run successfully, an email is sent to all full admins letting them know what has been done even if there has been nothing. In addition to this, unless you have the output set to "nobody" in cPanel then you will also get an email from cPanel when the cron job is run. If you need help testing the cron job then please email support@whmcs.com with your WHMCS Admin access details, URL, and cPanel login details and I will take a look.
