Restricting e-mail tickets to registered users only

I once remember an option that allowed you to restrict support tickets by e-mail to only registered users. There is the option to:

"Tick this box to only allow registered clients to open tickets in this department"

But that also hides the web page link to open the ticket. I still want anyone to be able to submit a ticket to the category via the web page, but restrict e-mail to registered users only.

Maybe I'm missing something?

If a client is not logged in they will only see the departments that are open to everyone (for instance, sales etc), once the client logs into whmcs they will see all the departments.

Thanks. I understand that much. But the problem with that is registered users who aren't logged in may never know the categories exist to submit to via the support pages. And I don't want them to have to take the extra step to log in to submit a support ticket if they don't want to.

Since WHMCS includes Captcha, I don't need to hide the support categories on the support pages. I just need to prevent unregistered users from submitting support tickets by e-mail.

Right. Well in the way it's setup now it's not possible. The only way I can see you being able to do it, is contacting Matt about having a custom modification done, or putting it as a feature request.
