D-Litz
For those of you that are using the EnomSSL, how does the payment process work? When your client goes thru the process of purchasing a cert thru WHMCS, how is the cert paid for? Do the funds come out of your exiting Enom account like the domain ordering or is the client prompted to enter a credit card or paypal account? Thanks
chickendippers
Works just the same as domains.
D-Litz
Works just the same as domains. Okay thanks...so to use this module I have to dump large amounts of non-refundable cash into my enom account? I realize this is a cost of doing business, however is there anyway to make the process work that allows a client to order a SSL cert, pay for it and then add whatever the required amount is to the enom fund bank? Also, I have read the enomssl documentation, however it does not clearly spell out the exact process that takes place when using the enomssl module. Is there a step by step guide that reveals the process? Thanks
chickendippers
Well you could always add the funds to your eNom account after you've received the order, but that would result in a delay of the certificate being issued.
HostBizLng
Hello chickendippers, How are you? So there is no need to use enomssl module to automate eNom SSL certificates sales, if one didn't make appropriate eNom deposit to cover automated SSL sales, right? Can then SSL certificate products be entered and configured as 'other/miscellaneous' products (without using enomssl module) and manually ordered and configured after order is placed and payment received? (Considering that SSL certificates in my case are just the value I add to already existing clients.) Thank you! Serg P.S. Btw, this is Yes/No questions my apologies for past negative remarks about Yes/No answers, I guess I had a bad day.
chickendippers
You don't need to use the eNom SSL module, you could set it up however you like; as a misc product, or as a configurable option or addon to a hosting product if you like. Using the eNom SSL module is the only way for it to be automated though.
