When a customer registers or changes his contact details his First and Last names and phone number is saved into a directory.xml file, with the help of a cron job every night a script is called which remotely HARD REBOOTS our Polycom IP phones and downloads the directory.xml file on each Polycom IP phone that we have so that we have an up2date contact list. When a customer registers and/or orders a product (He/she would receive a call from us automatically welcoming him/her or giving details about their orders) (this can be a Text-to-speech message that would be created dynamically or a pre-recorded real voice).
