Hey,

I was just really curious about a question.. let say i have my own web hosting running... Can i make a new client ( For my self) without need to pay or anything?. Because i try to add new client on whmcs demo and it still asking for money to be active.

 

Any help?

Yes, a new client can be added without needing to pay. They can either simply register an account and not have any packages or they could order a free package.

Or you could just untick "generate invoice" when you place the order in the admin area.

i wouldn't advise that if you use any info from whmcs for accounting. unless you want to be paying taxes on imaginary money paid to yourself.

Would also disagree on this one, what if a spammer hacks the account?

Well I do 1 of two things

1) Give client a big credit, then remove once done. (Only if i'm testing on a non-production WHMCS)

2) Make a 100% discount coupon (something random like 9034KLJdf9jdfkLSD9034) - only applicable to the products i'm testing, I give it 2-3 uses, and I set the expiration to the next day.
