Dedicated IP in welcome email

Ok I have been through trying to figure this out, but how do I add the dedicated IP in the reseller welcome email? First off I am a reseller so I can not check the dedicated IP option in my packages as I have to request each account be assigned a dedicated IP after creation.

So is it possible for me to setup my welcome email to included the dedicated IP?

I was trying to figure out the same.

If the dedicated IP does not change, then it would simply be a matter of modifying the email template and changing {$service_server_ip} to the actual IP address.

But I'm not sure how to change it for reseller dedicated IPs, that change for each new reseller.

Can anyone point us in the right direction?

Thanks.

There is no built-in tracking of hosting package IP addresses. You could add a custom field to the product for tracking it manually, and then include the variable in the email. However, you would then have to 1) provision hosting first without sending the email, 2) get the IP address from WHM/cPanel and enter it on the hosting package, and then 3) send the welcome email.

Cumbersome if you ask me. I wish WHMCS would capture the IP from the cPanel results during provisioning, and store it for use in emails and general IP tracking purposes.
