netstepinc
I'm using WHMCS to set up accounts in Plesk. The Plesk .skel directory has all the CMS files that need to be loaded with every site. What would it take to use WHMCS to create a mySQL database, DB user/pw in Plesk? I also need to run a series of linux commands to configure everything in the system....but the commands must be merged with user and path info. What would it take to be able to enter all the necessary info into WHMCS (DB name, UN/PW) and have WHMCS run a series of commands to create the database, set folder permissions, etc.? Is anyone interested in helping me develop an auto-deployment for my Joomla-based hosted CMS application?
dsaunier
Interesting subject for sure, I have been thinking about automating a blog install for ordered hosting solutions from our WHMCS site. This is only an idea for now, but as you can have WHMCS trigger any other action, PHP or Bash script, I'm rather positive you could do such a thing based on Hooks. Have you looked at the Wiki ? Else the support at WHMCS is outstanding and provides efficient replies very quickly.
