Willx
How can we make it to where you don't have to be a client for support? Like I want to make my support department for tickets to where users can go if they are not hosted and post a tech question.. I get lots of questions on a design site i would like to see if i couldnt on some issues point em to my ticket system and have em post there ... Or even a register for support, kind of like Kayako system

WHMCS CEO Matt Posted December 26, 2006 WHMCS CEO Share Posted December 26, 2006 By default, anyone can submit a ticket - not just your customers. Does that answer your question? Matt
Willx
Where do i set those settings at? I tried to submit one and it has you set to have to login first
MACscr
maybe im weird, but as the client, why would i ever want to go to the helpdesk when i can just check my email for responses? the actual helpdesk is really only useful for the support staff.
bedot
as a second thought.. if people arent paying, why are you providing them with support?.. surely they purely required pre-sales contact.
attroll
I had the same problem and what I did to fix it was created another department and then it worked.
Harrison
I think you can setup a pipe to forward mail sent to an email (e.g. support@domain.com) to the ticket system.

That is mostly going to be used for people that we do design work for and what not.. people that are looking to get design work done to keep it in a ticket so many of our tech designers can all see it and reply without posting the same info and everyone saying the same stuff and what not
