brap
Hi. My real question is How do you configure Auto Setup for a (non-hosting) product? I can't find anywhere to configure this in the back office. Looking around, I see two things, 1) in the wiki, "It is important to note that while all orders are pending until activated, the items in that order - hosting accounts and domains - will be automatically activated based on your auto setup options and auto registration options. So if you have them set for instantly upon payment that will be done while the order remains pending. This is to ensure you manually review each order you get." I don't really understand this, "That will be done" but "The order remains pending". 2) I see here in the forum that many appreciate not having an auto setup (except for old customers) in order to be able to check for fraud. My thought was that since I accept only Paypal (meanwhile), the reduced risk of fraud doesn't really justify the hardship on the customer not to receive his product when he pays for it. Maybe I am naive. I would welcome the input of anyone who can assist me. Thank you. Boruch Rappaport
chickendippers
What sort of product? If it's not listed on the WHMCS homepage then it's unlikely that any sort of auto-setup functionality exists. You can always write your own module to facilitate this!
brap
My own product(s) that I configure under Configure/Products-Services.
butterkitty
This would be a very lovely idea, since we sell Shoutcast streams and the documentation for an automatic setup for anything other than domains or of the like of hosting is really non-existant.

GGWH-James
Oh this page has been deleted. I believe that http://wiki.whmcs.com/Auto_Release is what sparky was referring to.
