If the 31 is selected for a date will WHMCS use the 30th or 28th for other months?

On the Configuration > Automation Settings Page

 

Specifically under Credit Card Charging Settings

 

CC Expiry Notices Date [ ] Enter the day of the month that you want to send credit card expiry notices for the upcoming month

 

Question) If I use the 31st, and for months that do NOT have 31 days, will WHMCS use the last day of the month for months that do NOT have 31 days, to run the function?

 

Or should I just play it safe and use nothing later than the 28th?
