"Register" link not in default template?

Hi.

I've just installed v3.81

When I activate the 'portal' template, I can see the link to "register or login".

I prefer the 'default' template, but the 'register / login' links don't seem to appear in that template.. :(

I'd like to be able to tell my clients to register themselves without having to forward them a link to register.php

Is this normal or is something not quite setup correctly?

Incidentally, my site is http://www.remotefix.co.uk .. I'm running an IT support company and I'm fed up with doing remote support for free .. so I'm selling remote support sessions from this site. 8)

Thanks for any info / advice.

DL.

what's stopping you from editing it and including the links?

Well, nothing .. but there's no reason for it not to be there, so I was just wondering if my combination of settings had caused it not to appear, or if its normal for it not to be there.

Cheers.
