Monthly Pricing Breakdown Display Mismatch

On the Product Configuration page of the shopping cart a product's price is displayed as the billing cycle's monthly price plus the setup fee. This is alright as it gives a monthly price breakdown for the billing cycle. But the Configurable Options for the associated base product show the price of the option as the total cost for the whole billing period and not the monthly price as with the base product.

 

For example:

 

Base product:

3 Month Price - $46.66 USD + $299 USD Setup Fee

 

Configurable Option:

Option one - $139.99 USD + $99 USD Setup Fee

 

The $139.99 is ($46.66 x 3 months).

 

 

This pricing mismatch causes confusion to the purchaser. I feel both the base product and the option should display similar pricing structures.

 

I'm sure there are arguments as to whether using monthly price or billing period price is better, but either way they should match to lessen the confusion. Maybe having the option to use either would be another feature...
