WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 17, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 17, 2007 Unfortunately we have no script written to do this. The above comment still applies though. Matt
Kevin_Barker
If you send you the Ubersmith database! is it possible for you to place this in WHMCS?
WHMCS CEO Matt Posted August 17, 2007 WHMCS CEO Share Posted August 17, 2007 No, an import script would have to be written to copy the data from the Ubersmith DB to a format WHMCS can use in the WHMCS DB.
onebluea
Have you created an import script for ubersmith? If so, does it cost anything?
generic
i though ubersmith was the ultimate solution, if WHMCS is better, then without a doubt it is leading the world in this area. Matt when is your company going public, ill buy a few shares....
Serenade
No, an import script would have to be written to copy the data from the Ubersmith DB to a format WHMCS can use in the WHMCS DB. Don't you charge 2-300$ for a script though?
onebluea
I have already manually moved most of my clients and services over to WHMCS and love it much more than ubersmith. Ubersmith has many issues with requiring a lot of processing power to run (even with just a few users), slow screen changes, and much more. WHMCS holds a lot more information and presents a nicer interface for clients in my opinion. From my testing so far, I will be purchasing a license. This is 300 times nicer and easier than Ubersmith and I am just hoping that I will be able to get support over the weekend if I ever need it (Ubersmith guys do not work evenings or weekends and charge a ton for any support at all - even though you pay a monthly subscription! Anyway, thanks for taking the time to write such a nice and functional application.
PaulDunlap
I'd love to offer my database for you to use to write a script to move others to this system. I would love to use such a script to move my customers, servers packages and all. Let me know if you still need this and I'll gladly provide it. Thanks.
