PDF Customisation Question

Recommended Posts

Just a quick question - i searched and couldnt find the answer :P

I want to modify the way products are displayed on the invoice.

Currently it just displays the actual product eg:

Home Starter - domain.com (00/00/00 - 00/00/00)

which often confuses some customers. Is it possible to add the products group BEFORE the product, eg:

cPanel Shared Hosting - Home Starter - domain.com (00/00/00 - 00/00/00)

many Thankies :-P

I came to search for this information as well. I am trying to customize the invoice so that it includes the Product Type on the invoices, as just having the hosting package name leaves them clueless as to what they are being billed for.

I looked in the manual on page: http://wiki.whmcs.com/PDF_Invoice

However I don't see any field names listed that would be the product type or description. In addition to the pdf invoice, I would like to change this to add the same field to the email template for the invoices.

I have searched on the forum back as far as 2007 and am either using the wrong search terms, or it isn't here. I have also looked through the manual and cannot find reference to it.

Any hints, tips, or answers much appreciated, BTW this is for version 3.81.

thank you,
