nick8701
Hi Guys, Im having trouble with the total amount at the middle process. When i go through the shopping cart and e.g., i pick the £10 hosting package with £15 domain registration, the total should come up to: £25, but the total here comes up to: £29.67 it also says pro rata, but i dont know how the calculations are coming up wrong??? Also i was wondering how to set up SEO friendly URLs, as i changed the general settings to seo friendly urls and then renames the .htaccess.txt file to .htaccess and it still is not working???? im having problems with that as well. Thanks in advance
Zorro67
Nick, I've started a little article about SEO at http://wiki.whmcs.com/Seo. It won't help solve your immediate problem, but will give you some next steps to follow through with.

keliix06
You seem to be using prorated billing instead of anniversary. It's calculating the price of the package for 1 month, plus the time remaining to get the package to the next renewal date you've set. If you change to anniversary billing the price will come up correctly.
nick8701
Thanks for the handy tip keliix06, ive unchecked th protated billing and now the figures are coming back to normal. I dont have an anniversary link, if i do can u please guide me to where it is??? And now so if the customers buys on 24jan, and ive set the Charge Next Month to 1, so does that mean the customer pays on the 24th feb or 1st feb??? as id prefer the customer to pay when there next renewal date is set- ie.e 24thfeb, but what number do i put on the Charge Next Month box as some might buy on other days as well???

keliix06
Thanks for the handy tip keliix06, ive unchecked th protated billing and now the figures are coming back to normal. Unchecking prorated billing is all that's needed to use anniversary billing. With anniversary billing they pay on whatever day they signed up each month. So they sign up on the 12th this month, they pay the 12th next month. With prorated billing if they sign up on the 12th of this month they pay the remainder of the month plus the next month (depending on your cutoff date) to get billing to the 1st. We used to use prorated billing, but switched to anniversary billing and we like it better.
Zorro67
Use Firefox as your browser, so that you can get "page info" and see the properties of all the images. That will tell you where you are going wrong
nick8701
I keep getting this error message when i click on view image: The requested URL /whmcs/knowledgebase/42/images/rssfeed.gif was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Ive checked and all the images are there were there supposed to be. Idk what 42 is ferering to as i dont have a 42 directory, as there are lots for different articles???? Checked page info but all the images were where they were supposed to be??????????
Zorro67
have a look in your database under tblknowledgebasecat to tell you which one (or {debug} ) 42 is the ID# of the kb category Actually, that's strange. I thought the rss feed was only implemented on announcements, wasn't it? yet your link says kb? Have a look at your page & repost with more info re the above.
