Reason being there was no change made to that message and the link to the client area in the message is something you have to manually edit in the message - it is not automatically inserted by the system. To edit it, just go to Manage Messages in the configuration section, then click the edit icon next to the Client Area Details Reminder and New Account Information messages under the General heading and edit the link to the client area in both to show your new address.
