bettysue
Having close to 400 domains I was very happy to see the cron job that updates the domain registration dates with our reseller account. I still have about 100 to add that we own but currently are not on hosting accounts. However all that it updates is the Expiration dates. The Registration date on all of the domains is the date I imported them from WHM as is the Next due date, although for some reason some just have 00/00/0000 as the dates. Is there anyway to "automagically" update the domains so that the expiration and next due dates match? I'm not as concerned with the original expiration date as that won't affect due dates and invoicing. Or is this something that has to be done manually one domain at a time? thank you in advance for any information, betty
Matt Wade
I'm pretty sure that the due date is set to the expiry date when that cron job runs. Anyway, I use the following script to set my due dates a few days earlier so that people don't see their domains expire when they pay on the expire date or the day after: http://forum.whmcs.com/showthread.php?t=16296

I don't know if it's not updating the other date due to a quirk in the Resellerclub script or if it just doesn't update anything except the expiration date by design. Either way I have downloaded your script and will give it a try. Thank you very much for your assist on this issue, betty
othellotech
updating the due date is one of the options you can set on the registrar module, which impacts the updates to the db by the sync reports - just tick the box ! there's also a user provided mod to do it en-masse - use the forum search

There is one tick box on General Settings that says "Tick this box to use the clients details for the Billing/Admin/Tech contact details", and one tick box on Registrar settings for "Demo Mode". Am I in the right place to find that setting? If so, maybe it isn't part of the Resellerclub settings (my luck!). thank you, betty

Ah, no, it appears you cant with the directi/rc based stuff - you can with enom and all the registry modules we've written ... price you pay for using a cheap registrar use the posted php script that sets the due dates on them all
chickendippers
We've got a SyncNextDueDate option for DirectI in version 3.7.1
bettysue
I used the script and although it generated an error message on each entry/line it seemed to have updated all the dates. Maybe the due date sync for Reseller Club will be in a future release. thank you again for the help and advice, betty
