Indizine
Hi there folks I seem to have a conundrum of a problem and was hoping you guys and girls might throw some light on this problem. Basically, I am unable to receive emails from support at whmcs which goes through their ticket system whether I am sending ticket requests from client area or admin area. Now this was working back in early December when they did the install and set-up as we exchanged a few emails over that. I also received an invoice by email from whmcs on 24th December. However on 5th January I opened a ticket for some support, and thought I was getting no replies to that and a 2nd ticket sent. On sending a third I found out I can only view them in my client area but wasnt getting an email alert with the ticket reply so I hadnt realised they were responding to my tickets. My host has checked my mail server and even gone into my mail account and all he found was a slight MX record error which he fixed but that did not fix the email problem I have. whmcs say they are able to send me an email and dont seem to get any error messages at their end when sending. They did a bounce test last night to my info@ email and I received that ok, albeit it was from info@whmcs. Therefore I have concluded that the issue lies in that I cannot receive emails they send via their ticket support system which is sales@whmcs and support@whmcs. Can anyone think of what or where else I can check to resolve this problem? I've run out of ideas and i'm brand new to whmcs so not as familiar with the whole system and if Matt and Joe and my experienced hosting provider (who also uses whmcs) can't think of what is causing this, then you can understand that I doubt I will, so need your help. Any suggestions are worth looking into. The only thing to mention, whether it's of any use, is that I pointed my domian over to my new site on 1st Jan 09 and set up my emails. I cant see how that would affect only whmcs, as I send and receive emails from everyone else on all my emails addresses without any problems. Thanks for reading and any help.
